This course, At Taajirah – The female Muslim Businesswoman was inspired from the many posts I saw online of people complaining about small businesses. Complaining about women who lacked a professional ethos whilst conducting business. My theory is a simple one. When people are ignorant they act out of ignorance. When educated they act out of knowledge. Every woman out there who has a business has now become marketer and saleswoman. She has to not only make the product but keep up with a world that is constantly urging her to change, to adapt and to compete. Engaging with people, replying to many tiresome requests and just the fear of putting yourself out there can be quite a daunting and scary task. As we conduct business our focus has to about creating our own guidelines from the Quraan and Sunnah and deal with people from this space.

In putting this course together, I have realized just how blessed we are to have the Quraan and the Sunnah. Every little question and every little problem has been highlighted so beautifully in the Quraan and Sunnah.

This course will focus you on the ethics that are set out for us in the sunnah. Ethics and Principles that guide your business decisions, every business transaction and allows your to focus on gratitude and the barakah mind-frame.

Small businesses are the fabric of our society. Let us learn to incorporate our Deen into our business dealings.
