Taking Strength From Allah For Ramadan

Living My Duas

Taking Strength From Allah For Ramadan

Besides Muhammad (SAW)’s Ibadah, he had a very strict routine. Be it his presence in the Masjid, his reading of the Qur’an, when he socialised or spent time with his family, and so forth; he was constant on this routine.

  • When one takes strength from their routines, however, it is negating the strength that Allah can give one irrespective of a routine.
  • One should not be a slave to these routines and schedules, for it is Allah Who allows the believer to have success in their day.
  • Where the believer takes the most strength from as well is from their Du’as and the meanings of them.

“O Allah! All the praises are for You; You have the possession of the Heavens and the Earth and whatever is in them. All the praises are for You; You are the Light of the Heavens and the Earth And all the praises are for You; You are the King of the Heavens and the Earth; And all the praises are for You; You are the Truth and Your Promise is the truth, And to meet You is true, Your Word is the truth, and Paradise is true, and Hell is true, and all the Prophets (peace be upon them) are true; and Muhammad is true, and the Day of Resurrection is true. O Allah! I surrender (my will) to You; I believe in You and depend on You. And repent to You, and with Your help I argue (with my opponents, the non-believers) and I take You as a judge (to judge between us). Please forgive me my previous and future sins; And whatever I concealed or revealed, and You are the One who make (some people) forward And (some) backward. There is none to be worshipped but You.”

These Du’as change the way one thinks about their abilities.

  • Muhammad (SAW) took strength from Allah to reach Ramadan.
  • It is not about the preparation of food. When the believer detaches from the systems they have created themselves, the food will be done; Allah is the One Who provides strength for this task.
  • Preparation can be done, but these systems are not where true strength comes from: it is from Allah.
  • Take strength from Allah, and the believer will never reach a point of depletion.
